Inge I also think that is St. Peter's Church, the very same one that Andre
showed in his video "Dreaming". In that video Andre showed a Corpus Christi

Hi everyone. Wonderful pictures. The captions really helped. It was interesting to read that Andre bought a
church. If it is called St. Peter's, it must be the church in which he filmed Intermezzo on his "Dreaming" dvd. If you look at "Special Features"
and click on "The Making of (Dreaming)", you watch them recording that beautiful piece in St. Peter's in Maastricht. The church is magnificent: very high ceilings, lots of stained glass, etc.
    Thank heavens Andre rescued it!

Terri, I have no idea what the gold things are on the iron door, I did not go that close, I am always a little worried, someone could see me, haaaaaaaaa.

Moira, who is Phillip Moira???? The big house in front of the castle is the home where André lives and the brown house on the right is newly renovated for Marc, the long white house on the left is Suzan and Pierre´s home, as far as I know, they are not married yet, someone asked that question, to not remember who.
  • July 2, 2007 Ineke Cornelissen wrote:
    Hi Inge,
In the Photo blog I already wrote you that I was happily informed by the news of Pierre and Suzan's home. We tried to check the ownership of the church and googled the Dutch Land Registry Office. It is owned by the R.C. church and Parish, not by Andre. Maybe Andre gave a royal donation??
I think what you called a railway bridge, could be the historic St.Servaas bridge? Did you see our two Maastricht city walks at
http://www.andrerieu- movies.com/? We should add Pierre's home now!!
  • July 2, 2007 Inge Cossette wrote:
If caused any commotion about ownership of the church or the houses, I must stress, that all my information are second hand and about the history of Maastricht, I bet Ineke is a better authority , after all she is a native I was only 2 days there, thank you for correcting me with the mills. I found the picture of the second mill, sorry about that, the rest I cleared up.

    Hi Inge Cossette and Terri:
Within an hour I'm leaving for Maastricht. (O my goodness, the weather is so rainy!!!!). I'll have a close look at the entry gate to Andre's villa. I'll tell you later wat the gold design on the iron gate is. Better: I'll take a picture and show you!
