Andre Rieu has booked concerts
in South Africa 2010
Andre's team has been searching for venues & locations for a concert tour in the spring of 2010. Andre adjusts his music a little bit to the country where he plays, and says he is definitely going to South Africa.
There are concerts scheduled in April next year in Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg.
The violinist is a little bit nervous for his African adventure, for he has never been to these places. He hopes that the South Africans appreciate his music.

Ms , My husband and I booked at a concert in Vienna last year in the sixth row when he became ill and we could not go. We gave our tickets to Austrian friends. We would love to go IF we could obtain tickets in not further back than the 3rd row and next to a centre isle. The venue does not matter in SA Greetings Rosa.

How wonderful to meet up with Andre Rieu fans from all over the world! My sister and I are the biggest fans ever and even if I have to beg, steal or borrow I will attend the concert in Cape Town! I manage a beautiful Bed & Breakfast in Knysna and if ever any of the fans travel to the Garden Route, please come and stay with us! We can't wait!! My kids have taken up guitar because of all the dvd we have bought. I mean all of them. Can't wait to hear when the tickets go on sale! We will definitely see you in Johannesburg with all our family and friends, they are all hooked as well.Woohoo some real culture at last!

Dit is die beste nuus ooit. When I watch the dvd's as you playing the violin with your heart and sole, the Johann Strauss orchestra full of joking and happiness on everyone's faces it reminds me of the time when we where kids, playing in the sand, laugh a lot and nothing to worry about. It is great for visiting SA and pray for a save and happy tour here in South Africa. Andre you and your team are very special for me, and thanks a million for using your talent to bring so much joy to others. God bless you all!

Great news! always wanted to go and see Andre but never thought it would come to SA. We are from Holland and are leaving SA for good in April but will certainly delay our plans to go and see Andre first. I hope that everyone will buy tickets and will support him coming to South Africa. I've put the World Stadium Tour trailer on my Facebook profile to get people enthusiastic and will get tickets for my friends as a farewell present when leaving SA in April! Already started with lending out the DVD's to my friends to get them familiar with Andre Rieu. Best of luck Andre!

I am dancing with joy. I have been playing Andre's music in my progams on radio since I got hold of Romantic Paradise many moons agoAnd that waslong before the big ones took notice. I own about 18 cd's and as many dvd's If I can lay my hands on them I buy them. I do hope for a live interview when You visit our country. We will be attending in Johannesburg.

the news that Andre Rieu and his orchestra will be coming to South Africa will make my parents and many of their friends very, very happy.
Any DvD that they can find they buys without any delay. They enjoy the shows so much they will definely be there

End of 2007 to 2008 I remember writing a letter to you and ask you to come to RSA. I also remember suggesting you do it in 2010 when the world cup is here in our lovely country. I don't know if you ever read that note, what I do know is that I am absolutely soooooo happy that you coming our way. I am buying tickets today and will not miss it for anything!!! Thank you for taking this step, I am sure that you all are going to be pleasantly surprise with the people you meet here! We are a great nation, country and we do love our music!! COME ON SOUTH AFRICA LETS BUY TICKETS! That way we can be sure Andre will bring his wonderfull orchestra back again to visit us on a regular basis!

I remember writing to you at the end of 2007 - 2008 about coming to RSA. I also remember mentioning that maybe it should be in 2010 during the world soccer series.
I do not know if you ever read my letter, what I do know is that I am so excited about you and your orchestra coming here!! I am buying tickets today and will not miss it for anything in the world!!

I am excited beyond belief. My friend Karin managed to get us front row seats, how wonderful is that. Now the wait begins, hope I can be patient. This is like a dream come true. Thank you to the powers that be for letting Andre come to South Africa. We have been blessed.

Ai, Ai, André, hulle is in vir groot verrassing in Suid-Afrika! Jy het soveel bewonderaars en teen dié tyd weet jy ookal dat al jou konserte binne enkele ure uitverkoop het - ek vertrou dit sal maak dat jy weer en weer en weer sal terugkom na ons pragtige sonskynland!
My en Marius en Helgaard en Hettie Muller se kaartjies is veilig in bewaarkluis en ons kan nie wag vir jou konsert die 1ste Mei hier in die mooiste stad in die wereld nl. Kaapstad nie!! Groot vreugde heers hier oor jou komende konsert.

I couldn't believe it when I heard that Andre is coming to South Africa!!! I live on a farm so I nearly missed the news (no comms and no connections), and unfortunately didn't get very good tickets by the time I got to Durban.... but I'm IN!!
The timing of Andre coming is perfect. My mom adores him.... she's dying of cancer (only a couple of months to go). She's so excited and holding on just to see him.... I'll probably cry my eyes out throughout the concert because it will be the last big outing I will spend with my mother! What a perfect way to build final memories.... THANK YOU!!!

And a miracle?......
Mom's 84 now and as cheeky as barrel of monkeys!! She still drives etc etc..... If anyone is able to fight cancer and win at 84, it's her..... so yep, a miracle is possible, but age is against her. She's done well!
We're very much aware that it's memory building time now..... and the evening with Andre is going to be a highlight for all of us.
Mom especially enjoys Andre's Maastricht videos because Andre and his orchestra often plays songs of her youth. She's flemish, and grew up in Antwerpen/Brussels
That's the beauty of Andre and his crew. He reaches across the nations, languages, boundaries and ages and touches the hearts of everyone.
It will be interesting to see what South African flavour he'll put into his SA Tour.
......... and I am convinced that he will be touched by wild beauty of this country.....
BTW.... mom's already planning her ball gown!!!

My husband just died a month ago and your consert just come in time for me to take a break of a week to attend the Sun City consert on Monday 26 April. I am one of 9 family members and few friends who will be attending. I am very excited and with a tear in the eye because my husband would not be there. But I know in spirit he will be.

Dear Andre, I have been playing your music on air for many years. I own sixteen of your cd,s and even more dvd's. Your music has inspired many lovely programs. Overvaal Stereo broke the news that you were coming to South Africa. EVEN BEFORE THE NATIONAL BROADCASTER. We were very proud of that.
