Andre Rieu - The Gala From Blackpool Gazette

The Blackpool Gazette

ANDRE RIEU

With a 50-piece orchestra in period costume and a dozen dancers in the aisles
this was one of the evening's highspots.  The James Last of Strauss Waltzes is booked
up years in advance.  Hardly surprising.

      I didn't see the Choir.

However.... WOW... what I did see is that the Johann Strauss Orchestra filled the stage with Beauty.  It really highlighted for me how stunning the JSO is to look at ... and then ... they play the most beautiful of Waltzes!

That's what I thought too. Andre Rieu & his JSO certain got a very loud applause! And how beautifully they filled the stage and hall with their presence and music. It was well done by Andre!

I'm sure the Queen would give Andre and the JSO a 10 out of 10 for this performance. I think it was just perfect.

Watching this again, I think...only Andre Rieu could get the crowd to break from tradition and CLAP in the middle of the set, as Andre & the JSO play, and the Waltzers fill the aisles. Well Done!!
